Blessing Atere Marks 50th With Book Unveiling, Goodies For The Needy

The journey to the final day celebration of the 50th birthday ceremony of Deaconess Nurse Janet Blessing Atere commenced on Monday 28th September, 2020 when the celebrant and friends visited Orphanage Home.

The following day,Tuesday, was for medical community outreach, Wednesday was for a visit to Widows and the Aged.
Thursday, Oct 1st,coincidentally , Nigeria’s Independence anniversary was the 50th birthday bash proper and it witnessed a book presentation by the celebrator, The book is titled: Be Spiritually Sensitive.
Meanwhile, the grand finale of the week-long event will be at the Church on Sunday for a thanksgiving service.

It was a wonderful Golden Jubilee celebration for Mrs Atere Blessing as all members of family, friends, well wishers and Formidable Team gathered in hundreds to appreciate this Icon in Nursing profession to celebrate togetherness of God’s faithfulness and merriment towards joyful celebrations.

Speaking at the Thursday programme, Atere expressed her happiness and thanked God ”for the success of my birthday of 50yrs”.


Further expressing her joy, Atere recounted that ”the programme leading to this day started since Monday when we visited the Orphanage home with gifts, Tuesday was for Medical Community Outreach in my Community, then, Wednesday, I visited the Widows and the Aged and today is for us to savour the birthday ceremony with the launch of my Book, and Sunday is the Thanksgiving which is the grand finale.

”I am just thanking God for the opportunity to be alive today because there are many people who wanted to see today, but are not alive.

” But for the Good Lord that has preserved me, taken care of me with my family, and made me to be able to see today, am giving honour and glory to Him.

”Before now, i had vowed that if am alive to be 50, I will celebrate it in appreciation to God, today that am now 50yrs, God will keep me to be able to celebrate 100yrs”

Atere used the opportunity to tell family, friends and colleagues that no matter how small, ”it is important that we try to celebrate the goodness of God on our birthdays.
”I thank all who grace my occasion and I pray that things of Joy shall not depart from them”she prayed.
