COVID-19 Stalls Baba Wande’s 81st Birthday Plans, Seeks Help For The Needy.

Popular and dynamic role interpreter, Alhaji Kareem Adepoju a.k.a Baba Wande is 81 years old, but for obvious reasons the veteran actor is not throwing a party.

Infact, the actor whose role in Ti Oluwa Ni Ile shot into more prominence is sad.

Baba Wande is sad as a result of the COVID19 scourge ravaging the entire world.

Baba Wande is sad that the world has become helpless in the face of a virus that continue to claim lives as a result of no known cure.

Determined not allow the birthday go unmarked however, the actor has released a short video to join his voice to others all over the world, sensitising the people on the need to keep safe and observe the required discipline to prevent contracting the virus.

Speaking with the birthday ”boy” on phone today , he lamented the grief and sourness in the world as a result of the ravaging scourge, hence his submission that, though hitting the remarkable age of 81 calls for a grand celebration, but was quick to mention that it would be insensitive on his part to roll out the drums when many homes are either in sorrow or state of uncertainty regarding their chances against the ravaging virus.

Baba wande who was 81 years old some days ago pleads with the well to do in the society to help the needy with food and other things that could cushion the effect of the lockdown that have come to be the only remedy against the spread of the pandemic so far.

Full of praise for the Lagos and Osun states government for their efforts in ameliorating the effect of the lockdown, Baba Wande urged the governments not to relent or fail to do more, declaring that, God will crown their efforts.

Baba Wande’s birthday celebrations was planned to take place in Canada this month, but all arrangements had to be cancelled due to the pandemic that is ravaging the entire world including the prejected place of the birthday celebration,
