How I Came By The Name Tomorrow

He is Lagos based role interpreter, Producer and Director all at once. Popularly known as Tomorrow, he understudied the likes of Tunde Kelani before becoming a force that he is today. In this brief encounter, Tomorrow speaks on his 24 years sojourn so far in the make believe industry……

Q; You are popularly known as Tomorrow. For the benefit of your fans who is Tomorrow and how did you come by the name.

A; As a matter of fact, Tomorrow is my group’s name. Its called Tomorrow’s vision media concept. And since that name came into being, , people started calling me tomorrow. May be because of its uniqueness.

Q; What was your growing up like

A: Hmmmm. To God be the glory.

Q; In what part of the country did you grow up

A; I grew up in Ogun and Lagos  Nigeria

Q; How did you come into the film industry

A; My coming and growing up in industry is just like magic which i cant really explain.

 I started having interest in film after watching a film called Aiye, produced by Hubert Ogunde  and since then i have been looking forward to becoming a film maker .

Q; For how many years have you been in the industry now

A: About 24years ago

 Q; When was the first time you ever featured in any film

A; That was 2002 the film was directed by the late Yomi Ogunmola

 Q; who are your role models if you have one

A; My role model is Taiwo Hassan (ogogo)

Q; in your rating how would you rate the industry

A; All I know is that we are getting there and we will get there very soon.

Q; You have done many productions on your own can you mention few of them and the years of production

 A; I produced Idi Abajo 2006, Black shadow 2008 And Aso oku 2012

Q; Is it true that ladies must sleep with Directors and Producers in the industry to get a good roles 

A; Absolutely no

Q; Like how many directors have you worked with and which of them do you like most before you became one of them too

A; In my growing up in industry I have come across a lot of them but the ones I have worked closely with are late Yomi Ogunmola and Uncle Tunde Kelani 

Q:What should your fans expect from you very soon

A; I have a school of art already now and it’s on point and about to shoot a big project very soon when the lockdown is over by the Grace of Allah.

Q; where do you see yourself in the next few years from now

A; Its only almighty Allah that can say because we are nothing without Him  

 Q; I want to assume you are married

 A: Yes

Q: How has the journey marriage journey being. How well are you managing that aspect of ur life

A; Yeah, very good appreciation to Almighty Allah.
