Pasuma Is Sad! Shocks Fans With Choice Of 54th Birthday Bash Venue

Published

on

The Oganla of Fuji, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma is not a happy man at the moment.

Paso (as he is fondly called) is sad that his genre of music has not in recent years, witness a new revelation to swell the ranks of the existing ones .

Fielding questions from news hounds at a Media chart, the popular entertainer manifested the depth of his love for his trade, lamenting the dearth of Fuji revelations to sustain and hold forth when the present lead players begin to diminish in output.

He said unlike what was obtainable in the past, no new face has been introduced to the regular Fuji players in recent years.

Blaming music promoters for the sad development, Alabi said ” in my quest to expose and develop new talents, I took it upon myself to always duet unknown Fuji singers the ones you journalists like to call backstreet acts.

” To the glory of God, that was how some of the popular young ones around now got to gain stardom, but I don’t want to begin to mention names to avoid issues.

” I was doing that successfully when marketers insisted the trend must stop, that its hampering their sales. So I had stop it. But am using this medium to tell them now that we can’t travel that route anymore.

” I have a number of good Fuji talents with the potential to become the bomb with little exposure and that I am determined to expose the usual way ”

The globally recognised musician said its for this same reason of exposure that he became the first Fuji artiste to make it a matter of policy, to put an unknown Fuji artiste on stage to open shows for him whenever he is performing.

Alabi is also not happy with Nigerian politicians.
According to him, they abandon the people as soon as they secure their mandate, only to return four years after for renewal.

” Its the reason the entire space appear chaotic. People no longer have confidence in our politicians because overtime, they have failed to live up to the expectations of the people. But as soon as its time for fresh elections you will to see them crawl out of their hidden places, dangling miserable carrots to secure fresh mandates. Its unfortunate and should not continue because already, people don’t even go out to vote anymore. People are that frustrated with the system” he said.

Meanwhile, the superstar has an unpleasant news for his home fans.
Alabi is taking the celebration of his 54th birthday out of the country.

Pasuma’s birthday is due for the last week in November.

Pleading with his home fans to bear with him, the entertainer said ” I want to appeal to my fans in Nigeria that I won’t be marking my birthday in Nigeria this time.

”I have commitments abroad but that should not stop the gifts from coming in , let the gifts come in advance ” he said amidst great laughter.

How Whatzap Gist Inspired: Bade …The Reunion -Executive Producer , OLUROTIMI OMOTUNWASE

Published

on

Olurotimi Omotunwase is the Executive producer of the trending movie, ”Bade..the return”.

In this brief encounter, the movie maker of note makes some revelations about Bade and his own sojourn in the movie world. Excerpts:

Q: kindly tell us about yourself and your sojourn into the entertainment world

A: My name is Rotimi Omotunwase, and I am a father of two lovely daughters, an art enthusiast, and a complete gentleman.

Despite my background in the IT industry, I have always had a passion for movies since I was a child. In 2009, when I decided to do something other than IT, I found myself setting up a digital agency business called Fusionplus TV, which was responsible for launching the first LIVE STREAM TV channel in the UK in 2014, with our live studio in Canning Town, Royal Docklands, London. If you must know, we pioneered the red carpet culture in the United Kingdom by interviewing celebrities on red carpets. I recently decided to return to school, the plan was to study law, but because of the passion for the industry, I ended up settling for media production and communications. Last year, I fell back in love with the entertainment industry and decided to contact some of my industry friends to see what we could come up with, which eventually gave birth to this incredible film “Bade”.

Q: Talking about ‘Bade…the Reunion”, your new product, tell us about it.

A: As previously stated, I spoke with Femi Bolorunde and Daniel Ademinokan separately one evening, discussing some of our individual contributions to the Nigerian entertainment industry… The love of art that I saw emanating from these people’s hearts prompted me to conclude that it is past time for us to act.

Q: Why this story.

A: I was talking with Femi Bolorunde, about an idea I was trying to incorporate into my OTT website to help movie producers who can’t premiere their films in BIG cinemas use our platform for an Online premiering before releasing the videos, which we do almost every day. I suddenly pursed because I was reading something that had occurred in one of the WhatsApp groups to which I belong. When I told him what had happened and what had caused the sudden distraction, he immediately said that a similar thing had happened to one of his friend, and I suggested that we make a movie about it… And here we’re today.

Q: Is the movie out in the market?

A: It will first be available on Fusionplus Online TV on December 1-5, 2021. Which you can, of course, you can watch on any of your devices, including mobile, tablet, and PC.Question:

Q: Who are those that featured in the movie?

A: So many talented individuals, such as, Rykado Agbor, Segun Arinze, Dayo Amusa, Niyi Raphael and many more. It’s an assemblage of good actors that fits the characters naturally. Ably produced and directed by my good friend, Olufemi Bolorunde.

Q: Let’s talk about Fusionplus TV, what is it all about?

A: What are we about? Hmmmm! We are a basically an Over The Top (OTT) platform gradually finding our feet in the streaming industry again with the advent of Netflix and Amazon Prime. Our aim is to provide live and on-demand online video solutions as well as Pay Per View services for Individuals, Agencies, Corporates, Events and Sports. Our vision is to provide an environment where bright, daring, energetic and creative people, enjoy working together to develop world class TV and other media products.
Today, our mission is the same as when we started out because we are guided by a singular focus: “To help creative professionals get their stories out of their heads and onto screens in ways that just weren’t possible a few years ago”.

Q: What are the challenges of running a streaming platform like yours?

A: Oh! Nothing is stopping us; we have resumed our search for good stories again.
