We Have Made Security And Infrastructural Development Envy Of All In Kogi  ~Bello

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has expressed satisfaction at the high rate of infrastructural development and the conducive security atmosphere put up in the state by his government so far, describing it as the envy of all, including the opposition.

The Governor said this while fielding questions from news hounds in Lokoja yesterday.

According to him, with the little resources the state is generating, his administration has been able to achieve a lot of infrastructural development and security among others.

”This is what was not done for the state in the past 20 years of Kogi State’s existence before I came on board but under three years we were able to achieve all these successes.

”Probably some might think we were using stones or sand to do all these but this is  prudent management of resources and the good hands that we were able to recruit in my cabinet and in governance in the state.

”So if anybody is saying we have not performed; it is either  they want me to perform more or they are simply living in oblivion.

Reiterating that  he had repositioned the state in terms of security the governor added that his government has also been able to address the lopsided employment issue in the state among others.

”You know what security situation used to be in the state  and today we are having a different story” he registered.

The governor thus assured all that he would continue to do his best and give good governance to the people of the state.
